i need to shoot at around f11-13 to get the depth of field i want. sometimes
i go to f16 or f22, but not a lot. i occasionally g to f5.6 with the wide
lenses, but seldom. i have a vertical of #5 but i didn't like it as much as
there wasn't as much rock visible. i wanted the expanse of rock to contrast
with the blue and white of the ice. the non-panorama images are full frame,
so i would have had to use a lens wider than 14mm to capture both the rock
and the upper part of the falls. moving further back would have placed me
about a meter lower and inside a tunnel.
