A friend of mine has a MX and it is about 23years old. Till last year it
worked fine but this year is showed some film transport problem. What
happened was that the teeth of the spindle on which the film runs, slipped
quite often. As a result, it ended with superposed exposure between
adjacent frames. According to my friend, the camera is very old and wants
to part from me. Besides this it also showed some other problems when
operated in subzero temperature. The remained locked up evenif the shutter
was released and this happened many times. This was the story last year.
Cheers,
Ayash Kanto.
