They seem to work. The only thing I worry about now is getting some
piece of grit stuck on the cleaning pad and gouging some nasty
lines...but so far so good.
A month or 2 ago I was cleaning my 20-35/4, which seems to get
particularly grimy. There were a few stubborn spots, and for the 1st
time I really dug in with the pen. Looks good as new.
It's good to treat your lenses with some respect, but apparently that
SMC glass is pretty tough. Look back through the archives for Bill's
cigarette story.
