You've gotten a lot of really useful info...it's all valid, and it's all
advice that will lead to a 'good' portrait.
You might infer that since you broke a bunch of them that it's a bad
photo. Don't. It's got style and it's got..uh...honesty? I'm not sure
what it is, but it's no cookie cutter head shot, and I really like it.
You, or someone, might say since you may not have intended to break the
rules to get something different, that the resulting image isn't
artistically valid, or something to that effect. Don't believe it. You
saw the print, and you selected it. You saw something there, and decided
to show it.
Again, this shot has something going on I really like.
