Actually Frank and myself live at (approx) 43.5 N, 80.5 W so we're actually closer to the Equator than the North Pole. A couple of hours drive north of here on the way to a place called Tobermory, there's a road sign marking the 45th parallel.
We do get lots of snow though :)
I'm almost precisely on 55degrees. I think Jostein is on about 59.something. Paal is probably furthest North?
