Hi! a> Boris Liberman, at T=2101.26 : >> C> Pentax *ist D, 300mm Sigma APO, 2x Sigma EX TC, hand held ISO 200 f5.6 >> C> 1/800. Full frame just resized and "save for web" >> 300x2x1.5 = 900 mm of focal length. So you can handhold this... Do
a> 900mm at 1/800 is quite realistic as one can theoretically shoot 50 at a> 1/50, 135 at 1/125 etc. without "motion blur". The question is rather about a> _focusing_.... a> BTW. How is your longest time to shoot 50mm steady? Mine is 1/15 when a> kneeling and using so-called "sniper breath technique"... With my MZ-6 (with FG grip) which is better balanced than *istD without a grip, I could do 1/20 and get away with reasonable sharpness. I don't think I can do similar with *istD. May be I just need to enable myself with the grip. Boris mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
