Hi Frank ....

Well, m'lad, I don't know what to say. On the one hand this appears to be
an interesting photo, but there are so many technical problems I just don't
know how to interpret your vision. Often I can, but this one just leaves
me scratching my head. Did you want to lose all the detail in her dress
and some of the surrounding area? Did you want her skin to stand out with
a somewhat washed out look to provide contrast to the dark areas, giving
the image a bit of an abstract look? Or did you want her skin tones down a
stop or so, as might be more conventional, giving the photo a more subtle,
quieter feel? What's with the white outlines along the lower part of her
left arm and along the inside of her right forearm and hand?

When I open up the tonal range in PS I see lots of blockiness and strong
artifacts. I'm not sure what causes that (poor quality scan, too much
sharpening? I'm not skilled enough to always recognize the cause of some
things).

I like the way she's standing there ... there's something very intriguing
about her stance, and that her back is towards us. The bright gob on her
left, and the spot lights (?) in the upper right corner of the pic serve
little purpose, and, IMO, take away from the interest that Jennifer is
creating. Likewise the rough shaped white blotch in the lower right corner.

I sure wish I knew what you were trying to present. Baring that, all I can
say is that there's something interesting going on and the photo intrigues
me.

Hope you had a great weekend.

Shel
