Just took another look at the info posted on DPreview and noticed that the expected price if the istDS here in the US is $700.00. More astute observers here probably picked up on that a few days ago. That's a GREAT price, no more than some of the high-end P&S cameras. Makes the istDS look all the better, and, for my money, at that price the choice of an SD card takes on even less significance. And, if that's really the price at the opening bell, it shouldn't be long before it comes down a few $$. Another hearty pat on the back for Pentax. It may not be that long before the little Sony here goes into retirement .... nah, I like it too much.
