Nah, you can set sharpening to very low levels in D70 if you don't like default setting. That is - you've got more in-camera control on this issue than on *istD, where you have to do more post processing to achieve sharper picture. Moire is in practice very ocassional problem, but instead from what I've seen it has more reliable than in any DSLR RGB metering matrix taken from pro-level F5, D1 and D2 cameras. No camera is perfect :-)
