Q1 in Japan would be April to June?
I think Pentax might have made more money if they had roused themselves to produce enough DA 16-45 lenses to meet demand. Pentax are shooting themselves in their feet.
In the U.S. the *ist D and DA 16-45 are offered as a kit with a $200 rebate. If I was in the market, that is what I would want. The trouble is, the kit and rebate are unavailable because the DA 16-45 is unavailable. I wonder how many *ist D sales Pentax has lost because of this incredible stupidity.
Adorama had a few of the DA 16-45 earlier this week. They sold out within 48 hours or so. The DA 14 hasn't made it to North America yet although it has been available in Europe since late June.
