No offense meant, certain things just get to me. We have a couple of beautiful covered bridges up north, they put "Chain Link Fence" :-( over the windows so no one would jump out! Might's well have painted the beautiful aged oak purple! You are of course 100% correct, just my (old hippie) hangup about "steel and concrete" in otherwise attractive settings. The railing just happened to be the first thing that caught my eye. Someone else was distracted by the background, with me it was the railing.
