Hi, Kostas. Yes, I think it would suffice for a 6x4 (15x10cm). The number of pixels in your crop would be ca. 1400x780 in the original (tried to match the crop in th original to see how many pixels I was left with). It should give you a resolution of at least 230 pixels per inch (1400 divided by 6).
But if you want it to fit on a 6x4 lengthwise, you'd have to include some more of the lake above to get the factor right. Assuming you don't wish to cut the oars off, of course...:-) Cheers, Jostein ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kostas Kavoussanakis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Jostein" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 02, 2004 11:36 AM Subject: Re: PESO - A summer romance > On Sun, 1 Aug 2004, Bruce Dayton wrote: > > > The possible subject of the couple in the boat is relatively > > small and off to the side, suggesting that they are not the main point > > of interest, but rather part of a bigger whole. > > I can how see the "small" part can lead to feelings of solitude. > Off-centre is, I think standard, (rule of the thirds and what have > you).
