Thanks for the idea. Although, wouldn't this preclude
the eyepiece from having smc coating? Do you (or anyone)
know when pentax started coating the eyepieces? Would a
k1000 eyepiece fit just as well? Or maybe K2 KM or ES ESII?
I think they all take the same size rubber eyecup.
