Hi!

ft> I don't go on list for like 2 or 3 days, and there are
ft> over 650 messages to sift through!

It is average, trust me, the old backlog guy <g>...

ft> My friend Marlee is a dancer/performance
ft> artist/whatever, and these are photos of a piece she
ft> calls Sex With Filing Cabinet. It's a pretty cool
ft> piece. Seems to me it's about alienation and feelings
ft> of disconnectedness and the like, so these sort of
ft> disjointed shots of her body, no head, face or
ft> identifying features seem to be what the piece is
ft> about to me. Mind you, I haven't shown them to Marlee
ft> yet; she may disagree!

I neither like nor dislike them. I think that without the above
explanation they would work a little less than they do with. However,
in my "tunnel of reality" they don't really work. I would say - they
are good and even cool, but they don't do much for me. Let's say if
both were on display on some exhibition, I would definitely come near
the wall in order to read the story, but then probably I would just
nod slightly and go on to the next exhibit.

Just my cents.

Boris
