On page 138 of the May issue of Pop Photo there is an editors note on the
bottom of the page that states: "When describing the features of the Pentax
MZ-S in last months show preview, we were given to understand that the
built-in flash covered lenses down to 28mm. Not so-the flash in the MZ-S
is claimed to cover lenses to 24mm. Also we're now told that high-speed
flash (to 1/8000 sec) was only available with accessory flash
units. Actually the built-in flash can sync to 1/8000 sec, the very first
SLR, we believe, with such capability." It is my understanding that the
flash sync of the RTF in the MZ-S is 1/180 sec.
