I commuted to San Angelo from San Antonio for a 1 1/2 years as a
salesman for a home improvement company and I always ate breakfast at
Denneys Restaurant. There was a waitress there in her late 60's who
always had a smile on her face and a way of getting your day off to a
good start. I later found out that, in her younger days, she rented the
top floor of the Cactus Hotel and had a group of young ladies that
stayed there with her. She even had a place down the street for guys
that liked guys if you know what I mean. Maybe there is a connection
here ;-)
