The King Cobra by Kirk is their version of the gimbaled head. The Wimberly Sidekick is a gimbaled adapter for a ballhead, a recent addition to their lineup. There is another action head just out, called the Mongoose Action Head by an outfit called 4th Generation design. I have the King Cobra and use it with my 600mm FA.
