I shoot for myself, have the time, and have become accustomed to LF quality. It no longer looks "awesome" to me, it has become "normal". Everything smaller unfortunately has become "crappy", and 35mm "really crappy"....Oh well... JCO

As I spend more of my time shooting stock and magazine work, I find that I'm moving more and more to practical solutions. The turning point was when a very successful part time pro told me, "You have to decide if you're a fondler or a shooter." I guess for now at least, I'm a shooter. By the way the same local pro showed me that in many cases it was possible to res up the digital images to get the high quality 40 meg files that the stock house requires. That convinced me that digital was a good solution for some of the things I shoot. Of course 6x7 is still required in some cases. I'll have to experiment with the digital for a while to see where I can use it and where I can't. On Jan 21, 2004, at 10:12 PM, J. C.
