Hi, > Great shot, Bob!
thanks. It was in Bermondsey tube station, which is close to where I live. I was on my way to work one morning. The carriage stopped at Bermondsey and I happened to be facing that scene. So I got out and went home. Got my camera. Travelled back to Bermondsey and squatted in the tunnel until there was a brief moment with no people, and took the photo, plus several others for luck. > Now why is it called "never.jpg"? "Never admit that something that comes out so good was an accident." ? The woman's face is on a billboard, of course. You can't see in the web-resolution version, but the only word on the billboard is 'Never'. I can't remember the rest of the copy. The billboard was there for about a month, so I'm surprised I haven't seen any other versions of the photo. But as it happened I never sat in the same seat again in that month, so I never quite saw the scene in the same way. Perhaps no other photographers sat in that seat in that month. -- Cheers, Bob Thursday, January 22, 2004, 1:40:26 AM, you wrote: > Bob W <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >>> I feel like I've been there.... >>> http://www.bigdayphoto.com/cityscapes/munich_subway_04020001.htm >> >>>> >>>> http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2069022 >>>> >> >>it's not a subway, it's a tube! >> >>http://www.web-options.com/Never.jpg > Great shot, Bob! > Now why is it called "never.jpg"?
