Okay, what's up with that?
Even if the warranty's up, you should check with Pentax to see if they've got one of those "secret warranties", you know, like the auto makers do (even though they deny it), for instances of their cameras being run over by cars. Couldn't hurt.

Well the MZ-3 has gone for service yet again, not it's fault getting runover by a car will do that. B&H has 2 days to get it to Miami :D
