Thanks Amita. I have no shortage of software for printing thumbnails -
they just don'e seem to do it the way i want it. I like one full folder
to a page of A4 paper, with filenames. Canon's Image Browser will let me
choose a customs setup getting that amount of pics onto the page, but not
as an index (with the filenames), and with the index (filenames present)
option will only get about 50 or so on. I also use Lightbox and that
prints the thumbs off okay, but not quite a hundred, and the filenames
are too small to read, with seemingly no option to change either thumbs
or names. iPhoto needs to import all the pics first before it will let
you do anything (I only want paper pics of tiny thumbs - not interested
in starting new albums which take up space and time. Photoshop's File
Browser displays the selection I want perfectly but won't let me print
them. A screenshot was the workaround. Don't forget, I was reading from
CDs, not downloading from them. My workflow ends with the shots (cam
original and selected otpimised) onto CD. At that point hard drive space
is freed up and files are deleted.

Thanks,

Cheers,
  Cotty
