In Seattle I see tons of non-pros who are shooting with digital SLRs. At my companies Christmas party on Friday I saw a number of Canon 300Ds. Granted I do work for a large software company where people get pretty good salaries. They are pretty common in any of the touristy areas of town too. I'll have my *ist D in tow when I drive cross country in a couple of weeks. alex
