Joe, Could you go into a little more detail concerning your test of the FA 20-35/4 and the F 17-28 fisheye? Those are two lenses I have been considering for my *istD.
I have used the Fisheye zoom on film cameras so would be interested to know if it performed about on par with your previous film usage or did you see some problems. Also, on the 20-35, you mentioned that the zoom range was too narrow. Did you find that to be the case just with digital, or have you felt that way about it with film too.
