Hi Peter
>From my limited understanding, the PZ-1 and PZ-1p are almost identical except for the

effect in the later. One or two features were left off the z-1p.

As was recently stated,i went for the PZ-1 as it has a higher sync, which is important
to
me,and the
HYP M and HYP P modes.I have recently aquired the pz-1 and due to 3 days of rain am
limited to play
mode right now,but i can see the HYP modes a great asset in what i do.

The wheels may take some getting used to in the program modes, but not very.I have the
D1
so its no
big deal for me.Info in finder is easy to see and read.
The AF on the SF-1 i have is fast and from what i see so far the z-1 is a bit
faster.The
viewfinder
is great, very bright and crisp for an AF camera.

I dont think there is a grip for this,if so it might help a bit.I'm used to the
vertical
on the D1,great idea.

Why not start with the PZ-1,i'm sure you;ll like it and move up to the MZ-S when and if
you want.
