Yes. Only take it as high as OS 8.5 - there is an issue between OS 8.6
and the Sonnet card that nobody will admit to. I did this 3 years ago and
after months of troubleshooting finally found the cure. I don't know
about 9.X but 8.5 was a winner with me. There was a whole bunch of 1400
Sonnet users who were freezing regularly - they came in from the cold
with 8.5 ;-)
