Hi, Paul,

Only my oldest, Anne, is of drinking age. Mind you, this month she turned
21, so she's legal everywhere, now. The night of the blackout, when we ended
up drinking free beer at the Jet Fuel Cafe, she got a little tipsy on about 2
beers. I think I'm glad of that. Seems to me that she hasn't built up that
tolerance (like her old man! <g>).

I'm only 1/2 joking about Blue, BTW. It's not ~that~ bad, I guess. Truth
is, all the beer from the major Canadian breweries (Blue, Canadian, Export,
50) tastes pretty much the same (even though that list includes two "lagers"
and two "ales"). Even experts in blind taste tests couldn't tell one from
another. If your son likes it, that's fine by me! <g>

OTOH, gone are the days that Canadian beer was strong, hearty stuff, and your
American beer was weak tasteless garbage. Due to different ways of measuring
alcohol content, turns out beers from our two countries are pretty close in
alcohol content these days. And, our beer has gotten more bland tasting over
the years, so mainstreams from our two countries are closer in taste than
they used to be. But, I digress...

You have a great Sunday, too, Paul!

cheers,
frank
