Hi Maciej, data imprinting is a very useful feature on MZ-S, but it does not work well automatically with B/W film.
When PF 15 is set to 1 (auto), imprint density is right on for color films up to 800 ASA. With B/W films it comes out to strong, however. Obviously, B/W films need different settings. Unfortunately, neither DX decoding doesn't use or read that the film is B/W nor camera changes any settings for B/W films. With HP5 at 400 ISO PF15 needs to be set to low imprint density. I turn off data imprinting when I use B/W films faster that 800 ASA. It simply comes out to strong. Pity. Matjaz > Lately I've become user of brand new MZ-S.
