Hi, Many people have been saying that the MZ-S is expensive. So it is. To put it in perspective, maybe, just note that the LX cost, at one point in the UK �1600 - body only. That would be about 10 years ago.
About a year before it was discontinued this was reduced to just over �700. About the cost of the MZ-S now. I rather like Pentax camera design. On the whole, they do what I want them to do with a reasonable selection of bells and whistles. I _do not_ understand why they went away from OTF, low light sensitivity metering. Even if it was retained only for centre weighted, it would be an advantage. Once they left OTF metering, why not include an eyepiece blind - about the only thing I envy users of other equipment for. mike
