I'm fairly well aware of the problems with trying to manipulate .jpg
files, but what about TIFF?
I ask because I am contemplating the purchase of an Optio 450 or 550,
and they will save stills in TIFF as well as jpeg.
Are TIFF files capable of being worked with, without the sort of
degradation seen in jpegs?

keith (pretty inexperienced in some of this...)
