It's worth twenty bucks or so, as a novelty lens. Expect unsharp
photos, with serious color fringing, and vignetting, and extremely
soft anywhere but in the center, where it is simply soft.

But it's fun, if you can find a good lens to match it to, and suitable
subject matter.

Many of these lenses come apart in the middle (it's a feature not a
defect). The bottom half then is a Macro lens, or rather a diopter
filter, which is not too shabby, in the absence of anything better for
closeups.
