There'll always be a few people who complain, I just ignore 'em. You
can't change the nature of a person, but you can give them zero
attention. That and the utter nonesense spouted by MacBurt recently. Shit
happens. We obviously have an unmoderated list, and these things are the
unfortunate byproducts. I don't give them a second thought, just get on
and read the stuff that's interesting, delete the rest.

Actually I think this is a great place to hang out. Just like many have
said before, it's like a bar. There's regulars, passers-by, hangers-on,
loiterers, undesirables, friendlies, all sorts. But it's not a bad bar,
and you can pick and choose who you chat with, who you listen to. The one
undeniable draw that brings everyone in is the Pentax gear. Anything else
is spurious, and either light relief, or unwelcome intrusion. Earwig or
move away accordingly!

Me? No, I'm not perched on a stool at the end of the bar puffing on a
briar like Doug Brewer <g> nor am I stood in close proximity, pint in
hand, ready to unleash wit and wisdom like Mr Robb, nor am I sat in a
comfortable chair holding court at a table like Cesar and Annsan et al.
No, I'm sprawled over an entire table in a corner, Leatherman at the
ready, tweaking some bit of kit or other, keeping half an ear cocked for
the tidbit, half an ear for the jokes, and half an ear for the odd scrap.
Hey, that's three halves - no better make mine a pint - gotta stagger
home soon from Bar PDML....

'Night all, *hic*...
