Hm, I have the F 300/4,5. To me, it's manual focus feel is better than all other AF (F/FA) lenses I know, like the FA 24/2 FA 85/1,4 not to mention the 135/2,8 (which still is a fine lens). Differences F/FA 300/4,5: You can't switch to MF by simply moving the focus-collar, you will also need to put the cameras switch from AF to MF. Still, I like the F more than the FA because of it's sturdy tripod mount. Best regards, Thomas
