Hmmm. How far do you stop down for portraits? I personally don't like much DOF, and I don't use a flash so sometimes (if the conditions don't allow me to better) I need to keep it open... The 1.8 (or 1.4, but there is no way I can get my hand on one, and the price...) might be better for me afterall? L > - my most beutyful portrait shots have been made with the M85/f2 <...>
