That's what I was going to add. When we got M**ta Dimage 7Hi at work my boss was realy eager to try it out. The rechargeables that came with the camera had to be charged so he went and bought 4 alkalines (or at least that's what he told me). The camera didn't even turn on fully... Also I'm not sure if making a nice batery for the camera is not a better way. Minolta draind the power pretty quick - at first contact we got about an hour of play.
