Yeah, it looks comparable to 35mm to me.

However, there are a few intangibles here....some sensors of similar
sizes produce different output. I know folks who have compared Fuji
S2's, Nikon D100's, and Canon D60's, and they just like one camera's
images over the other for some reason. They think one is sharper, one
has less noise, whatever.

Also, people who use this stuff a lot tend not to worry so much about
sensor size as they do about "normal" camera issues: ease of use,
ergonomics, AF, and supplied software being among them.

Has anyone seen an ISO range for the new camera?

I'm very happy to actually see the specs for the whatever it's called,
it's not a bad little camera. I'm very tempted to put my order in now,
but I think I'll wait a bit and see some output and user reports.

I bet the first PDML reports we hear come from GFM this year.
