I had the same thought. It's too bad about the pentamirror, but I guess that's what you can do for the price range. I think from a market standpoint a camera with these specs is a great bargain and should compete favorabley with the N80 type cmaera, since its cheaper. (Yes, Yes, those who must have Nikon will not be convinced. I just talking about cameras, not religion.) It's certainly a lot of camera for the price, and, let's be honest, those affordable metal cameras like the MX ain't comming back anytime soon unless the Yen collapses.
