At about the same time as a couple of very memorable characters called Suda Mafud and Kirkland Ramsey III (Presbyterian). I used to get the 3 of them very confused, like some sort of weird digital trinity. Happy days! We have an inordinate number of philosophers on the list. There are probably more philosophers on this list than there are angels dancing on the head of my pin. This particular exchange is about the ethics of informing people when there are interesting Pentax items on a popular "auction" site called eBay. For some it's a constitutional right which they will die to preserve. For others it's a sin comparable to selling both grandmothers into sexual slavery. There are no intermediate positions.
