I don't think M42 is quite dead yet. I remember seeing new cameras and lenses, still being manufactured.
Minolta MD are still carried in their lineup with one camera body last I heard, although I expect that to
change with their aquisition by Konica.

Olympus OM is flopping on the shore like a fish washed up by the tide.

the rest are truly dead.
