This is food for thought. I sometimes think I am a bit naive. When I saw the shot, it simply never occurred to me that her head was cut off at all. It was only when pointed out that I looked again and thought, hmm, yes, I guess that's one way of looking at it ( <g> fully acknowledged, Mike ;-) but I missed it! Of course we all like to consider ourselves astute and capable of examining things from many directions etc, and I am no exception. I hate 'not' seeing something. I think this perception is probably the most crucial part in defining our subjectivity. (That sounds like I'm fulla crap - does it make sense?) EG when I produce some prints I get a right earful from Her Indoors (a photographer in her own right) on my cropping and print border trimming.
