Just put AF360 on MZ-S and try - if you add exposure compensation (+) - flash range is reduced, if you deduct (-) then flash range extends. I have tried it in program mode (aperture values changed, shutter speed not), and it seems that compensation via dial on body works only with TTL only mode flash units. It doesn't work with AF360, although flash bracketing still works in this combination. In this case you have flash compensation only via dial on flash, and ambient light compensation via dial on body. Very clever - now you can use older flashes and still have flash compensation with MZ-S/MZ-5N, losing only possibility to compensate ambient lighting. But why Pentax doesn't want everybody to know these simple (?) facts??? Total mystery for me...
