Successful using iText but getting error while using PDFBox while parsing the same PDF ...

Hi,
 
I had reported earlier that I was getting a 'java.lang.NullPointerException' 
while trying to parse a PDF document and setting values to the form fields 
using PDFBox. However I was able to set the values to the form fields in the 
same PDF document without an issue using iText. Can someone explain the reason 
for this?
