Subject: [PDF-Forms] Totaling the number
of selected radio buttons
Hello everyone! I have a question that I hope you can help me
with. I am currently designing a form which has a number of
columns. The form is used as a log of Collection account
payments taken in a given month. There are two problems I am
having. There are two columns labeled with two different
account numbers. Depending on what the payment is received for, one of
these two columns must be selected. Which brings me to my first que
stion...
1) Would it be easier to use radio buttons or check
boxes? My goal is to make this form very user friendly.
Also, if I use radio buttons do I have to name them the same thing in order
for it to work properly?
The next question may be a little tougher. The last row on the page
is a total line. Basically, I would need to total up the number of
Account # 3073 payments as well as the number of Account # 6835 payments
received.
2) If I'm going to be using radio buttons or
check boxes is there any way to do this?
FYI - I am still a novice with _javascript_ so if the solution to
this involves it I may need it explained in simple terms. Thanks in
advance for any help you can offer.
