Thanks, though I'd prefer to consider another option then changing my Illustrator version. I didn't know that Distiller woudn't work properly with .ai since it returns no errors in the process... I think I should mention that I'm working on a PC, if of any importance in this case. First, Distiller can't handle native Illustrator files. So that isn't a valid approach anyway. Second, if you upgrade to Illustrator 9 or later, then you can use the batch/automation features to convert all 125 directly - this would be the BEST option.
