Rich-

Thank you for the suggestion.  I indeed had the Macro Security set to High.  Just changed to low, quit Word, and reopened but still no luck. : (

Thanks again...Justice

Check your security settings in Word. If they are set above "low", the macros may not run.

Subject: [PDF-Forms] Two Acrobat 6 questions

Hello All-

Just upgraded from Acrobat 5.05 to Acrobat 6 Professional.  I have two questions I would like help with if anyone would be so kind:

#1- PDFMaker button missing in MS Word 2002(Windows XP)- The PDFMaker.dot file is in the correct folder(C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Startup) but for some reason the shortcut buttons do not show up anywhere and the option is not on the view toolbars menu either.  My MS Excel works just fine, the buttons display.  Anyone else had this problem?

#2- Shortcut Calculation Missing in Acrobat 6?- In Acrobat 5, I could take a series of fields(i.e. "text.1", "text.2", etc.) and under the built in sum calculation just tell it to calculate the sum of "text".  This would include all the subfields and give me the total of all fields with text. as the prefix.  I notice this is missing in Acrobat 6.  There are a series of checkboxes with the exact field names instead but no global field associated like in 5.  Does anyone know a faster way to do this like in 5?  Also when doing an "if, then, else" calc., do you have to specify every field or is there a shortcut to this as long as they all have the same prefix as mentioned above?

Your time and help are both greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
