Leo,
Using Acrobat 6.0 Professional you can simply "select" all the fields in a row by holding down the Ctrl key and dragging your mouse over the fields you want to select, when you have the fields you want to duplicate, right click on one of the fields and then select "Create Multiple Copies ..." and change "Copy selected fields down" to the number you want and "Copy selected fields across" probably to 1.

The system will automatically renumber all the fields with a .0, .1, .2, etc.

This way you won't need a _javascript_ to do that work.

Hope this helps.

Hi to all!   I need your expert assistance please.

I have a page with 25 fields already created from a previous job that I did.  I would like a simple _javascript_ which will add one character (e.g. the numeral 2) at the end of each fieldname.  (If the fieldname is QTY, I would like to add a 2 in order for the fieldname to be QTY2; PRICE would become PRICE2, DESCRIPTION would become DESCRIPTION2, etc.)   Thanks!
