You might want to go back to the originator of this form and ask if they can embed the font(s) in question in the distilling process. As far as replacing fonts, I never had much luck. That PDF file has been assigned with font or two that does not exist or reside in your system. Therefore, the font information is being misinterpreted. Acrobat is suppose to take care of this, but my experience is that it is not always so. Moral of the story is having PDF files with embedded fonts. Good luck.

Subject: [PDF-Forms] PageMaker to Acrobat Fonts

Hello everyone!

I have a small problem that, I hope, someone will be able to help me with.  I have a form that was designed in Adobe PageMaker that has now been converted to Acrobat so form fields can be placed in the document.  The only problem is that some of the text has been compacted to look like this, "verificationofassetsandincomeissubjecttoapproval.......".  When I use the Text Toch Up tool to add spaces it then shifts down all of the text which creates a whole new problem with overlapping text.  Is the solution to this problem as simple as changing the text font to something such as Arial (which I assume is more easily converted) or am I hoping for a quick fix in vain.  Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!

Amy
