I have a query regarding importing text from a .txt file into a pdf form.
OK.
I 've saved an excel file as a tab-delimated ".txt file." Using Acrobat Professional 6 (on Mac OS10) I can import the .txt file data by going to: Advanced > Forms> Import Forms Data > Show text files > OK. This works fine and all data is imported into their correct form fields.
Great.
My question is how can I import this data by using Acrobat Reader 6?
You can't.
UNLESS you wish to also purchase the Adobe Document Server with Reader Extensions product, which would give your form the ability to add functionality to Acrobat Reader, such as this.
OR you purchase Acrobat 6 Standard for your customer...
