PDF-Forms is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________

Does the form open and work properly under Acrobat (Reader) 4.05? If you are not using any PDF 1.4 and newer features, Acrobat (Reader) 4 will open the document without complaint.

A well-behaved PDF viewer starts interpreting the PDF document it gets and only complains when it does not understand something. A well-behaved PDF viewer does NOT use the PDF version number to complain or refuse opening a PDF document.

If there are real problems, you might look out if Callas still has their version reducing application available. Otherwise, you would have to use the PDF Optimizer from Acrobat 6 to write out a PDF 1.3 compatible document.

Hope, this can help.

I have a form created in Adobe 5 (PDF 1.4 format) that I need to save as an Adobe 4 (PDF 1.3 format) file. I don't see any option that allows such a conversion.

Can anyone point me to such an option in Adobe 5?
