Populating a pdf form over the web on a Windows 2000 platform that is
installed on the web server, is not a problem, when Adobe Acrobat
Profession (V. 6.0) is installed on the client side.
But if the platform on the web server is Windows NT (4.0), the same form
cannot be called over the web and following error message appears:

"The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

This was fine for both web servers when I was using Acrobat 5.0, but now
this does not work

I tried everything, but could not get anywhere. I generated the fdf on the
server and dragged and drop it into IE, and it works fine, but I cannot call
this fdf via a <file..> tag (as I used to do in my cfm page) as follow.

<CFFILE ACTION="Write"
    FILE="D:\Tempfdf\#Session.UserID#.fdf"
    OUTPUT="%FDF-1.2
1 0 obj <<
/FDF <<
/Fields [
<< /T (field1) /V (test)>>
] /F (http://121.0.1.2/pdflocation/myform.pdf)>> >>
endobj
