> Harold:, Do you really recopy the replies that you quote? I suspect so because you misspelled "plugged" where I was quoted below.
> You can copy the item to be quoted by sweeping over it with the left mouse button depressed. Then hit control-"C'. Position the mouse cursor where you want the quote to appear in your message and with no buttons depressed, hit control-"V". If you do not like using the keyboard, you can find "copy" and "paste" with the right mouse button. --- Wally Remember, I get the digest frrm of PCWorks, so just clicking "Reply" requires some changes (which is what I sometimes do). Somehow your "plugged" became "lugged" ... it probably slipped off the clipboard. I'll make all kinds of changes in replies if I think it will be easier for the reader. I usually give a particular part of a reply a Ctrl+C sweep, sometimes even put it through eCleaner to remove any any special formatting or html symbols, brackets, etc. And sometimes (not often), put it throuth MSWord if I think the line spaces are not looking right. Finally I'll Ctrl+V it into the email page. What I'm really trying to do is get the replies to look as neat on the page as possible. I try, can't always succeed, to avoid the following look: > FROM WALLY: Harold, evidently you are leaving your flash drive > plugged in all > the time. If you remove it when the icon says it is "safe to remove > hardware" > (when the flash drive is not being accessed), the icon will go away. > --- > Wally Btw, "plugged" looks all right to me, Wally :-) ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
